Kiani Beach Resort Family All Inclusive

Our room was the perfect size and allowed our teenage kids to have a degree of independence with our worry. Food was of a good quality and variety during our stay The kids club staff were excellent and our younger kids really enjoyed the activities.

The hotel is located in a rather remote area, which makes it quiet and relaxing, though a bit isolated. The beach is sandy and pleasant, but it would benefit from more regular cleaning. The resort itself is well thought out, but the landscaping, especially the green areas near the beach, could be improved. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. However, cleanliness was not always up to standard. The minibar was never refilled, and despite booking the All-Inclusive Plus package, housekeeping only replenished a single bottle of water and some coffee pods. The All-Inclusive Plus package is generally worth it, particularly for the branded alcohol and wider cocktail selection, as well as on-site discounts. The standard all-inclusive includes very few cocktails, while the Plus package gives access to about 16 more. The cocktails themselves were enjoyable in variety, but all were made with concentrated juices, which significantly lowered the quality. Soft drinks were also local brands and not very good. The rooftop restaurant felt overrated, with food that was average at best (extra charge required). On the other hand, the package included restaurants were excellent, offering a wide range of options - the pizza, in particular, was a highlight. Staff were consistently polite and welcoming, though the repeated requests for online reviews felt unnecessary and a bit pushy.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and were very content with all the services and amenities. First of all, the family room-house was amazing. Two-floored, very clean, very comfortable with two bathrooms and two balconies, one of which had a jacuzzi. The food exceeded all expectations. All the food was perfectly cooked, there was an incredible variety for all tastes and the quality was excellent. There were three restaurants with a different menu in the buffets each time. Very positive that there were many traditional foods. We were very satisfied, whatever we ate was perfectly cooked. The desserts could be better. Every day they had the same desserts. with the exception of 1-2 that were traditional Greek desserts, the rest were limited to mousses and cakes, indifferent to our tastes. The ice cream was of very average quality compared to the ice cream you generally find anywhere else in Greece outside hotels. We were very satisfied with the snacks they had at the bars, during the hours when the restaurants were closed. The crepes that were made at the bars during these hours were also very good. The cocktails that were also offered were also good even if they were basic. Regarding the sea and the pools, the sea was very clean with sand on the beach. The only negative was that entering the sea was difficult due to the large stones in the first few meters. Especially on days when there were waves, entering the sea was even more difficult, impossible if you had to hold a small child in your arms. It would be good if they had some kind of corridor with sandbags to go in L ike there are on other beaches. The pools were very nicely designed, the children went crazy playing. The most important thing was that they had lifeguards all the time. The activities such as gymnastics in the pool and the various games for the children in the pools were also very nice. For the children there was also the possibility to stay with the animators between 15.00 and 17.

We had a fantastic stay at Kiani Beach Resort Family All Inclusive! The food was delicious with plenty of variety, the staff were all incredibly friendly, and the facilities were excellent — everything was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. It’s also a wonderful place for kids — the staff really go above and beyond to make sure all the little ones are happy, safe, and well treated. Our children had the best time! A special shoutout to Bijay, Arpan, and Praveen from the beach bar — they were absolutely amazing, always smiling and making the best drinks and pancakes! Also, huge thanks to the wonderful team at the pool wing restaurant — every single one of them was super nice and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a great all-inclusive experience in Crete. 🌞🍹

The room was spacious - even with 5 of us it didnt feel cramped. It was cleaned to a high standard every day, and the housekeeping staff were all friendly. The pools were lovely, and were the main attraction - really big - never seemed crowded - and unlike some other places we've been, there never seemed to be an issue getting a sun lounger, nobody felt the need to put towels out to grab a great spot (other than by the baby pool, but we didnt use that). Food was plentiful, even if somewhat lacking in variety and local produce. We didn't really bother with the evening entertainment, it always seemed to end a bit early for us as our kids are a little older, and we ate a bit later. The staff in general all were very happy and very pleasant.
